Resistance Lessons for Americans,
from the guys who wrote the book.
In the early 1980s less than 200 active IRA men
brought British army operations of 35,000 men to a standstill. And that was at a
time when the Brits employed surveillance technologies in Northern Ireland to
find IRA, that US agencies only started to use a few years ago.
And due to the resolve of the IRA, Sinn Fein was able to force the British
government to a peaceful bargaining table.
I wish our present situation was this simple. The Irish dealt with an outside
invading army; easy to identify and were righteous in their action to remove.
But our enemies are more domestic than foreign, and we Americans have even
ourselves to blame for their creation. 50 years of watching TV while judges
steal our neighbors property for miscellaneous trumped up reasons.
If we started to act now, like the IRA did then, it would be labeled domestic
terrorism and properly so. Because the enemy is us. We dont win the hearts and
minds of our countrymen in this manner.
If this country should ever melt down into a general civil war, God forbid, then
it might be a different story.
The best idea is that we
Americans can win our fight for our country, with words, without ever a shot
being fired.
The best scenario would be if the bad guys
knew, that every one of us would die on a moments notice for our freedom, in
which case the tyrants would evaporate in one minute.
Officer is reading the 1916 Proclamation from the
steps of the Dublin Post Office, to commemorate where Padraic Pearse read the
same in 1916, which commenced hostilities of rebellion against the British
moments later. Eventually freedom was won from the British, except for 6
counties in the North which still remain under British occupation, which is the
subject of the first YouTube video.
Please listen to the 1916 Proclamation. It is most inspiring; on a level of our
own Declaration of Independence, and with the interesting twist, that women are
held as equals.
